Living-Water is London’s leading office water cooler company that supplies water coolers to many organisations and private homes in the greater London area.
Living-Water offers a range of both bottled water coolers and mains or point-of-use water coolers. Bottled water coolers dispense Living-Water Spring Water, sourced a deep, underground spring in the Wenworth range and at Source.
What Makes Living-Water an Environmentally-Friendly Company?
Living-Water cares about your health and about the planet, and this shows in their products and service, and in the way that they do business.
The crystal clear Living-Water spring water emerges from its deep natural underground source, where it has been filtering through the geologically famous rock strata of the Wenlock mountain range for millennia, and is bottled at Source by Wenlock. This area is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, and a SSSI (Special Site of Scientific Interest).
The water is regularly tested by an in-house microbiologist as well as by independent laboratories, ensuring that it complies with all the strictest European regulations and standards. The Wenlock bottling plant and premises are also subject to a rigorous annual inspection by the Bottled Water Cooler Association (BWCA), of which Living-Water is also an accredited member. The BWCA ensures the highest standards and ethical conduct in the bottling process and the highest possible standard when it comes to both technology and hygiene.
In conjunction with Carbon Digest, Living-Water has been planting a new tree for each additional cooler supplied, and has been a carbon-neutral company since 2009.
Other methods used to ensure that Living-Water is environmentally aware and friendly, are a range of policies that have been implemented, and for which staff are fined if not adhered to, with fine monies being donated to a dedicated office water charity.
- All air conditioning, computers and lights must be switched off in the call centre, warehouse and bottling plant outside of office hours;
- All walls are painted white to reflect natural light, reducing unnecessary electricity usage;
- Staff members are not allowed to access printing and all printer cartridges are recycled;
- Only the best quality bottles are used for bottled water coolers and are thoroughly and hygienically cleaned and reused up to 50 times each where after they are recycled;
- Warehouses are located as close to customers as possible;
- Only gas-powered forklifts are utilised in the warehouse;
- Water coolers are only sourced in the UK or Europe.
The above, plus various other in-house regulations make Living-Water a fully eco-friendly water company, and very popular in London.
