The UK’s largest flood and coastal erosion conference and exhibition, Flood and Coast 2017, convened by the Environment Agency, will take place over three days at the Telford International Centre from March 28 – 30.
The programme for the event includes a total of 150 presentations and case studies, including professionals from the drainage sector will debate some of the most pressing issues with the Environment agency.
Clare Dinnis, Deputy Director of Strategy at the Environment Agency and Chair of the Flood and Coast Event said:
“Alleviation schemes continue to be a critical part of protecting the country against flood risk. Pressures on our cities and all urban areas coupled with climate change, require us to look for innovative ways and drainage solutions to increase resilience and sustainability. Apart from the paid-for conference, there will also be a gratis exhibition as well as a series of free seminars more than 80 exhibition stands showcasing the latest technology and innovations, as well as in excess of 100 Environment Agency personnel.
