It is sad to say that unfortunately there are still small cooler companies out there who will happily simply dispose of their water coolers in the cheapest manner. By choosing a dedicated cooler recycling company who is a registered member of the Brewing, Food and Beverage Suppliers Association just for our water coolers, we feel far more of the cooler components will find useful reuse and it has allowed the company to employ unemployed and handicapped workers to reassemble these coolers. Our primary concern has been to ensure that the refrigerant gas removal is conducted by a reputable company offering high quality recycling services with sound waste minimization and prevention of pollution policies.
As a responsible water cooler company we believe simply having a Duty of Care is not sufficient and is why we have chosen to separate our three types of waste with 3 separate recycling companies; for bottles, for coolers and for general waste (boxes, etc). By implementing these arrangements for the proper handling of waste and rubbish and only using registered waste carrier’s can we ensure we meet out stringent environmental goals.
