What is Ozonated Drinking Water?

Ozonated Water, Ozone Water, or Ozo-Water is water that has undergone an oxidisation process by being dissolved in ozone. This is an alternative water treatment; one that is far healthier because it does not include the use of either fluoride or chlorine, both of which have been found to contain carcinogens.

The actual ozonation process can be carried out on both oil and water. Ozonated water is made by means of disrupting the water by means of electricity or bubbling and infusing some of the oxygen molecules with two additional oxygen molecules. Whereas ordinary water contains a 2 to 1 hydrogen/oxygen atom ratio, ozonated water has an added 3 separate oxygen atoms

Ozonated water tastes clean and fresh, and is effective in killing various bacteria and viruses such as yeast, E. coli, listeria and salmonella. Ozone adds oxygen to the bloodstream, which heightens brain function and eliminates impurities. The introduction of separate oxygen cells into the body strengthens the immune system, making it better able to fight off infection.

Ozonated water is very controversial, as there are those who firmly believe that it has many healthy properties both when you drink it and when you use it for bathing and personal hygiene. Although those who believe in natural healing methods swear by the use of ozone water, mainstream medical boards and pharmaceutical companies say that it is a fad and has no therapeutic properties.

Drinking ozonated water has additional benefits in that it kills some cancer cells, slows tumour growth, and may actually stop the spread of cancer. According to Webster Kehr, founder of Cancer Tutor (a product of the cancer researchers of the Independent Cancer Research Foundation, Inc. (ICRF) headquartered in Lindon, Utah), ozonated water â€œis not rated as a cancer treatment. It is rated as a supplemental treatment for cancer and should NOT be used as the primary cancer treatment.â€
