The IWA Water Loss 2016 Conference will be held at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore, India between January 31st & February 3rd, 2016.
The event is jointly organised by The International Water Association (IWA), Water Loss Specialist Group (WLSG) and India Water Works Association (IWWA) along with MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications.
This conference is the global event for water professionals and covers the entire water cycle. It rotates through various global cities and countries every year and each event has an additional emphasis on issues that are specific to the area or region in which that year’s event is being held.
This vital meeting between water professionals, regulators and policy makers seeks to address the challenges surrounding water loss and find solutions that will enable business and water utilities alike to tackle this global problem.
The 31st January will see a various pre-conference workshops being held in everything about water, including a Water Loss Overview, Interpretation of logging results and night flow, Finding Leakers in networks with Intermittent Water Supply (IWS), IWS in Water Distribution Networks, The Concept of IWS and Water Losses, and the Experience of IWS in India.
The training programme will cover on how best to deal with the specific situation to manage the current IWS state of affairs of IWS in India and how to transition to 24/7. The training programme will seek to address the challenges involved in managing losses in the systems with intermittent water supply and will cover various issues pertaining to the operation and management of distribution networks.
