We use specialised software applications to monitor our drivers’ routes in real-time, which allows us to keep track of the water system sanitisation process and ensure that we optimize the amount of stock carried. Water cooler sanitisation checks are part of the standard delivery process, and drivers log their activity on handheld devices, which gives us full insight to the status of the water at each customer.
Living-Water’s London Water Delivery Schedule
Delivery schedules are split across London’s geographic regions in order to ensure that we have sufficient time to affect efficient deliveries to all areas:
Central London Water Delivery
Deliveries to Central London are prioritised and maximised due to our in-depth knowledge of the area. This allows our drivers to negotiate parking restrictions and other delivery problems such as certain streets around Regent Street and Piccadilly only being open for part of the day.
Central London is broken down into two delivery areas, the West End /Mayfair and the City:
- West End /Mayfair deliveries of bottled water are doneon Mondays and Wednesdays. Routine maintenance on plumbed in POU water systems and mains water coolers are also done on these days. Should emergency maintenance be required out of these days, a special visit will be organised.
- City of Londonbottled water deliveries take place onMondays, Wednesday and Fridays due to the many companies that utilise a wide range of water coolers.
North London Water Delivery
North London is broken down into two delivery areas, Islingtonand the suburbs of Hampstead, Finchley and Swiss Cottage:
- Islingtonhas many customers using plumbed in water coolers, and our customers there receive their deliveries on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Hampstead, Finchley & Swiss Cottagebusinesses and home-based customers receive theirdeliveries on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
East London Water Delivery
Customers in the East End include many businesses in Canary Wharf, and we deliver supplies for bottled water coolers and bottle water to this area on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Traffic in this part of London is a nightmare, but with careful planning our deliveries are done out of peak time traffic snarl-ups.
South London Water Delivery
South London falls into two delivery areas, Clapham, Balham and Wimbledon and Egham, Epsom andKingston.
- Clapham, Balham and Wimbledon form part of our routes into the city from our warehouse at Wimbledon. To this end, customers in these areas are well serviced. They often receive daily deliveries, and if they contact us they can usually get their water coolers installed or bottled spring water delivered within 24 hours.
- Egham, Epsom, Kingston, and other areas in the more outlying regions of South London get their deliveries on Wednesdays and Fridays.
West London Water Delivery
West London is divided into two delivery areas, Hammersmith and Heathrow.
- Hammersmith and surrounding areas get their bottled water supplies delivered on Mondays and Fridays
- Heathrow and surrounds are a difficult area to make deliveries, but Living-Water delivers to many airlines and support services, and is the preferred supplier to many major airlines.
M25 Water Delivery
Water cooler deliveries to customers in the London M25 area take place on Thursdays. Living-Water supplies both mains cooler and bottled water cooler customers in the M25 area and service many companies in Redhill, Reigate and Guildford amongst others.
Living-Water’s client-base has grown over the years, and we now also service customers in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and Leicester. Plumbed mains coolers are more popular in these areas, but we still supply existing London water cooler customers via our local preferred partner so that our clients continue to receive the same outstanding service.
